Richard joined McCartneys in 1963 as a clerk, moving up through the ranks, becoming the Chairman in 1986. A very well known and respected figure both in the locality and in professional circles Richard, with vast knowledge and experience, specialises in all matters rural including valuations, sales and leasing of agricultural and residential property.
Living in Pembridge with his wife Margaret, Richard has two grown up daughters and lists watching Rugby and Cricket as his favourite pastimes.
